- We will start by leaving early in the morning in our air-conditioned four-wheeler for your comfort for a full day trip. Our journey to Alexandria will take about three hours.
- Our first stop on the tour will be the ancient Alexandrian Catacombs. This is a network of underground tunnels, unique in scale and beauty, which has three levels at once, and the local decoration combines three architectural styles at once – ancient Greek, Egyptian and Roman.
- From the catacombs we will come out into the light and go to the next attraction – Pompey's Pillar, which, oddly enough, has nothing to do with Pompey himself (more on this during the tour).
- From Antiquity, we will immediately dive headlong into the New Age – we will be waiting for a fortress from the times of Ottoman rule – the Kaytbey Citadel, by the way, this fortification was erected on the site where the Pharos Lighthouse once stood – one of the Seven Wonders of the World of the Ancient World.
- Further, at the request of the guests, we can go to rest with a delicious lunch, which, of course, is not necessary.
- The last attraction is the New Library of Alexandria, the beauty of which we will admire from the outside.
- Then our tour will come to an end and we will head back to your hotel.
