What is remarkable, and quite logical, is that Rafael Santi himself worked on the decoration of the walls of these rooms, so they were named after him.
- Another famous must-see attraction is the Sistine Chapel, the most famous in the entire Vatican! It was erected during the early Renaissance (from 1475 to 1481). And the architect of such a grandiose structure was the famous Giovanni de Dolci. This chapel bears the name of Pope Sixtus IV, during whose reign it was erected.
