Farny Church (the Church of corpus Christi) in Nesvizh - architectural monument in the style of early Baroque, built in the late 16th century. He became the first structure in the Commonwealth, executed in this style.
Young Nicholas Christopher Radziwill "the orphan" left Calvinism and converted to Catholicism. He decided to build in Nesvizh Jesuit Cathedral. But built the Church were dissatisfied, as it was built in the Renaissance style, which tended Protestants.
Thanks to the Jesuits in the world was the whimsical Baroque style. The first monument of this style was the Church of the gesù in Rome, which served as an example for the construction of a new Church in Nesvizh. For construction of the Nicholas orphan called the Jesuit, Giovanni Maria Bernardoni, who for many years served the Radziwill family. The Church also became a burial vault of the Radziwills. In the crypts is more than 70 coffins with the relics of the princes of different generations. First there was buried the Nicholas Kristof in 1616.
Farny Church - three-nave cross-domed Basilica with two square chapels. On the sides of the stretched Viper two-storey sacristy. The building is decorated with niches with statues of saints. On the main façade there is a quote from the Psalms: "Worship the Saint of Thy house in Thy fear".
The arches and Windows of the Church are painted with murals - more than 40 songs Bible stories. The temple is decorated with sculptures and monuments of the Orphan and his children, and the altars of Jesus Christ and the virgin Mary. A monument here to the first-born Orphan, who died at 2 years of age - an infant with crossed arms. A monument with a bust erected in honour of the second son, who died at the age of 16. The orphan appeared in the form of a praying pilgrim. At the bottom of the monument the epitaph, which says that in the face of death no one is a knight.
