A few kilometers from Vileika is the village of Zabrodye. She is known far beyond Belarus. Famous because it is the only Museum of the First world war, the old houses and objects of everyday life of the Belarusians, as well as the Museum of retro cars and motorcycles. On it we and will stop in more detail.
The first Soviet jeep, captured German technology, the legendary M-ka , “lorry” - this and more can be seen in the collection of Daniel Titovich. There are more than 30 copies. We should also mention the tractor UMZ, which was released in the late 50's and rumored to be in the CIS they have no more than three...
Equipment collected and restored over many years. Each machine Daniel gives a second life. It is a long and painstaking process, because you can find rare parts to complete the car immediately in principle impossible. The work is therefore all the exhibits in full operation.
Any machine in the collection – a part of history and has some value. With a plain “Zaporozhets” or “Moskvich” Museum visitors smile and remember my childhood, when on the same machine they were taken from the hospital, went on long journeys or just in the woods for mushrooms. These cars make you feel nostalgic for the country, which is long gone.
Many curiosities in the Museum – welcome on the sets of feature films and TV series. They can be seen in such films as “Fartsa”, “Stunt man”, “traces of the apostles”, etc.
The collection is constantly updated with new specimens, which Daniel finds throughout the country. There are such machines, which in Belarus no one else has.
For questions about the sale and price Daniel is not responding. Driving rarities to sit a stranger does not permit. But to ride in the surrounding area guests can enjoy!
In conclusion, we can confidently say that visiting such locations as the village of Zabrodye, should be the priority of any person who is interested in history and a penchant for old cars.
