You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to Hotel A1 in Arusha. Check-in at the hotel will begin at 12:00 pm. There you will encounter your guide who will tell you about the upcoming safari. No meals are provided on the day.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Upon finishing breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 7:00 am and transferred to Tarangire National Park. You will admire the animals in this magnificent park. There are many baobab trees and an impressive population of large mammals and birds, not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. Not only elephants live here, but also a variety of animals such as masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffalo and baboons.
You will be transferred to the Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu, where you will spend the night. During this day breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will head into Serengeti National Park through the beautiful highlands of Karatu and Ngorongoro Game Reserve.
Serengeti National Park is adorned by its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We will travel to the Seronera region, home to many wild animals.
In the afternoon we leave for the hunt. And after that you will be transferred to Embalakai Tented Camp, where you will spend the night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
Day 4: Another day in the Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will spend the day hunting in the Serengeti National Park. You'll even have the chance to witness the great migration of hundreds of thousands of wild bison, zebra and Thompson's gazelle. During the light rainy season in October and November you can usually see these herds. After the big rainy season in April, May and June the herds slowly move back through the western and north-western Serengeti.
Your guide will do his best to find the animals and make sure you get to see them from the best vantage point in the national park. Naturally, the migration also attracts predators and if you're lucky, you may be able to see them hunting. You will spend the night in the same lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included throughout the day.
Day 5: Trip to Ngorongo Crater
You will get up early to go hunting and be able to admire the sunrise. You will return to camp for breakfast and then set off on another walk through the park towards Ngorongoro Nature Reserve for an overnight stay at Rhino Lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongo Crater
After an early breakfast, you drive to the crater. Here you will see a lot of forest, but soon the landscape changes to savannah.
In this reserve nature is amazing for everyone and if you're lucky you might see the 'the big five' – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. You'll also see many other animals. You will return to Arusha in the early evening and spend the night at the same hotel.
Day 7: Departure day
Rest in the hotel and transfer to the airport. Departure from the hotel at 11:00 a.m. No meals included on this day.
