Our journey will start from Perm. During the tour you will enjoy the beauty of the Pre-Urals from the highest point of the Tulvin uplands - Belaya Gora. You will hear all secrets and legends of one of the largest monasteries in the Perm region majestically located on the western spurs of the Ural Mountains. You will learn much new about the Perm region, history of origin and modern way of life. I will certainly introduce you to the phenomenon called Ural Mining Civilization - a unique for Russia XVIII century stage of construction of factory towns in the region.

  • You will hear many stories about one of the longest trade routes linking the Russian state with China - the Siberian Trakt. "The Great Tea Way". 
  • You can enjoy the unique nature of Kungur foreststeppe, which is wonderful at any time of the year. 
  • You'll drive along the legendary route Liverpool - Tobolsk. On your way I'll tell you the history of the railway appearance in the Urals in the XIX century.
  • The special place of the excursion will be the male monastery located on the top of the Belaya mountain. The monastery is a witness of many historical events connected with Nikolai II epoch. The pearl of Belogorye is Krestovozdvizhenskiy Cathedral. It has a capacity of 5-6 thousand worshippers and is one of the largest in Russia. The architecture of the temple is unique as well as its interior decoration. 
  • You will learn the history of Belogorskiy monastery: creation, oblivion and revival. 
  • You will hear why the monastery is often called the Ural Athos. At the end of the visit you will taste the delicious monastic meal.
  • During the excursion you will learn not only well-known facts but also simple vital stories about life of the monastery and its inhabitants: priests, novices and pilgrims, told by them or overheard by your obedient servant...
