It has the largest collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts in the world. The collection has over 160,000 unique items. There are eight divisions in total, each of which tells a different story about a particular period in the history of ancient Egypt. For instance, there are 10 halls devoted to findings from the tomb of Tutankhamun; if we compare them, the total area of these treasures would take up an entire football field!
One of the most famous creations of human, not only in Egypt but all over the world, is considered to be the Giza pyramid complex. During our trip we'll visit it, especially since it is located in the suburbs of Cairo. It is here in Giza that the 3 highest pyramids in the world - Cheops, Chephren and Meekerin are located. Next to the pyramids you can feel the greatness of the ancient creators who created these giant masterpieces many thousands of years before Christ. The Pyramid of Cheops is considered the jewel of the complex, and the legendary Sphinx still guards this mystical site today.
We'll learn about the technology and history of one of humanity's oldest writing instruments. You can see all the technology with your own eyes.
We'll enjoy some of the most intriguing scents of the Orient and learn about the traditions of aroma preparation in Egypt. And buy your favourite flavours as souvenirs.
