• Immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of history and romance by going to Chernihiv to visit the amazing Glebov Castle. This castle was built at the end of the XIX century on the outskirts of the city, on Bobrovica, and became a symbol of luxury and splendor of the prosperous landowner and landowner Grigory Glebov.
• Grigory Glebov, a well-known deputy of the State Duma and the leader of the nobility of Chernihiv province, created not only a picturesque manor house, but also a real castle in the Neo-Gothic style. Locals nicknamed him "the castle", and Glebov himself aspired to be like a hero of the time of the Musketeers, which was reflected in his strange clothes.
• Glebov's castle impresses with its architecture, reminiscent of medieval knight's castles. On its facade you will see an image of the Glebov family coat of arms with two winged lions and horses holding a crown. Legend has it that the castle was built to attract the attention of a Frenchwoman whom Glebov met in Paris.
• Today, the castle serves not only as a monument of history and architecture, but also as the site of the Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Microbiology of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
