The tour I invite you to take is perfect for anyone who is interested in history. We will visit several interesting museums in Soweto and Johannesburg. The history of South Africa is amazing. You will learn a lot in the local museums!
We will meet in Johannesburg and start at the Hector Peterson Museum in Soweto. Many of the landmarks in South Africa are associated with apartheid. The museum is no exception. It is a symbol of the resistance of South Africa's indigenous black population to brutal apartheid. This museum is sure to tell lots of great things. We will also have the opportunity to visit the local market and purchase exotic goods.
Next, the house of the famous Nelson Mandela will be waiting for us. Mandela House is one of South Africa's must-see attractions. And on this tour, you'll find out why. Here we will also be able to visit the market.
Next is the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, revealing the details of one of the darkest historical periods in South Africa. This is a wonderful museum that will tell us a lot of sad, but very instructive stories, you will appreciate it.
And the last stop on our tour will be Constitution Hill, the last museum in a row. Learn how South Africa went through apartheid and repression to a modern democracy.
