We'll meet in Johannesburg or Soweto and go on an entertaining journey. During the tour we will visit the most interesting and historically important places of the city.
Soccer City has many names, but the ones most often remembered are The Calabash and FNB Stadium. An interesting fact is that the round shape of the stadium repeats the traditional African pots - calabash, which used to be made from pumpkins. Currently, this stadium can accommodate about 97 thousand people, it is one of the largest stadiums in the region.
Hector Peterson was a young man who protested against the teaching of Afrikaans in schools. He was shot dead by the police, the boy was 13 years old.
This is a must-see place on any Soweto tour, and for many reasons. This is one of the most famous streets in South Africa; here we will find markets with exotic goods, local food and drinks.
