We will start by going from Johannesburg to Pretoria, where our journey begins.
First of all we will see the very large and majestic Voortrekkers monument that was erected in memory of these brave settlers who left the Cape Colony in 1835. The monument itself is made of granite, and in 2011 it became a national heritage site.
Our next stop is the house of Paul Krueger, President of the Transvaal Republic. The interior decoration well reflects a bygone era, and reveals some of the personality traits of President Kruger and his wife.
Next, we will go to Church Square – the main square in all of Pretoria, here we will find the statue of Nelson Mandela.
After Pretoria we will be back to Johannesburg, which is also called the "City of Gold".
Upon arrival in the city, we will have lunch at the Pata Pata restaurant, after which we will go to the next attraction – Constitution Hill, and then ride across theMandela Bridge.
The last stop of our journey is the Carlton Center. This building offers breathtaking views of the city!
