We invite you to an exciting tour of South Africa! For me this tour is of great importance, as South Africa is my homeland. And I will be proud and happy to tell you about the most interesting things and show you the most interesting and beautiful places where I grew up and formed as a person!
We will meet in Johannesburg, it is the largest city in our country and it can tell us many amazing stories!
You must have heard about the Gold Rush in California or Alaska, but did you know that South Africa also had its own Gold Rush in 1886? We will learn about this, as well as about such a controversial period in the history of this country as apartheid.
Our next stop is Soweto, which looks more like a village than a city proper. It began to be settled in the 1930s.
We will learn a lot about its history, what are the local traditions and way of life, and explore important cultural sites, including the home of Nelson Mandela, Kliptown and the Hector Peterson Museum.
Winnie and Nelson Mandela, Yvonne Chaka, James Mpanza, Hector Peterson, Hastings Ndlovu and many others lived in this town at different times.
We will see all sides of Soweto, including some very unpleasant ones. This city very clearly reflects the history of the development of South Africa, its culture and customs; we will walk along Vilakazi Street to make sure of this.
In Soweto, we will also appreciate South African cuisine and Soweto Gold beer, as well as visit the local market, where we will find many exotic goods.

Lunch and tasting are not included.
