During the safari we will visit two parks in Tanzania. The first one is the Serengeti National Park and the second is Ngorongoro. We will get to know the big five: rhinoceros, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard. Additionally, follow how other wildebeests make seasonal migrations in large herds!
You will be met at Kilimanjaro Airport from where you will be departed for the National Park Serenteti. It is one of the most famous parks on the continent, life here is in full swing, and the scenery is amazing. It is the oldest park in the country and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are many amazing plants in the southeast of the park. In contrast to the south, in the north the landscapes are more rocky and uneven. The west is full of rivers, forests and valleys. Some areas in the national park are dotted with so-called "koppi" – granite outcrops that are clearly visible even from a long distance.
We will go for lunch at one of the many public campsites in the park. Stay at the Seronera campsite for a night.
Day 2:
First of all, we will have a hearty breakfast and then continue our journey through the National Park. There is no better place in all of Africa to observe nature, as it is here that wildebeests often migrate.
African animals are found here everywhere and in large numbers. You can see cheetahs and a real black rhino! You can also meet other predators here, for example, the spotted hyena, especially often in the morning. Other animals are jackals and eared foxes. Here we will observe the migration of antelopes from a very close distance.
After a full day in nature, we will go for lunch at the campsite in the afternoon. We will stay at the Seronera campsite again.
Day 3:
After breakfast, having gained strength, we will move to the Ngorongoro Crater. When we get to our destination, we will descend into the Crater. Here we will spend most of the day.
The crater is known far beyond the borders of Africa; it is here that the wildlife is the most vibrant and rich. Representatives of the Big Five will meet us here! The crater is home to over 30,000 wild animals!
Ngorongoro is often called the "eighth wonder of the world", because the Crater is visited by a large number of tourists every year. Here observation of nature is most convenient and exciting. You won't find a place like this anywhere else in Africa!
In addition, the Ngorongoro Crater is a huge untouched volcanic caldera. It forms a huge bowl with an area of 265 square kilometers, 600 meters deep.
After such a fruitful journey, our safari comes to an end. In the afternoon we will move to Arusha, towards the airport or some other place you would like to stay in.
